Our Family


We are the Keller family. We have been married for twenty five years and are the proud parents of three amazing kids: Gabby, Kristen, and Jalen. Our marriage has been shaped by faith, friendship, and a commitment to walk through every season together with honesty and grace.

Frederick has become home to us, and we are excited to plant roots here and share life with this community we love.

Our Calling


The Well Church Frederick is born from a simple conviction we carry deeply. Jesus still meets people at the well. He still meets the thirsty, the hurting, the curious, and the searching, and He still changes lives one encounter at a time. Our story began long before this church had a name. After more than twenty-four years in ministry, God placed in us a growing burden not simply to lead a church, but to build one. A church rooted in His presence, shaped by genuine relationships, and driven by mission rather than routine.

In 2020 we stepped into a unique calling when we helped plant and lead a new church campus in Frederick. What began as an extension of an existing church quickly took on the heart and feel of a church plant with live preaching, local leadership, deep community connections, and culture being formed from the ground up. Over five years God built a thriving spiritual family marked by prayer, unity, and life change. Through that season the Lord made something clear to us. We were not called only to run a campus. We were being prepared to plant a church. Everything God built in us during those years was shaping us for this next step of obedience.

The Well Church Frederick now grows out of that calling. Our mission is simple and deeply personal. We help people Live Jesus, Love Well, and Believe Beyond. We want to create a church that feels like home for people who have never truly felt at home in church. A church where every culture and every generation belongs. A church where discipleship is relational, worship is authentic, and the presence of Jesus matters more than polish or production. We believe following Jesus is a daily Spirit led journey, and we want to walk that journey with the people God brings.

We love Frederick. We love its diversity, its growth, its families, its long time residents, and its rich blend of cultures. Our city is full of people who are spiritually curious, spiritually cautious, or spiritually disconnected, yet deeply longing for meaning, belonging, and hope. We believe God is calling us to be a place of grace, renewal, and community. A church that welcomes the hurting, strengthens believers, reaches those who are far from God, and raises up new leaders who impact their neighborhoods and the world.

Every person who comes to The Well would encounter Jesus, the One who still meets people where they are and offers life that never runs dry.
